High stress scores need to be taken very seriously. This is because a lot of stress not only makes you feel bad, it can also give you the symptoms previously mentioned. Stress can actually make you ill – people who are stressed often get more colds or flu, for example. If you have eczema or asthma, you might find that your symptoms get worse when you are stressed (eg at exam time).
