Yes. We can offer training to teachers to oversee the implementation of the project and to groups of young people to become peer mentors. This will include guidelines and materials and enable you to run the project in your school.
The programme has been designed to be easy for the user to log-in, navigate and use. The films and animations are straightforward to open as are the handouts and links to access. For any technical issues to do with the website, contact web@unionstreetmediaarts.com
Yes it is, unless it is a safeguarding matter. A safeguarding matter is anything that means that the mentee, you or someone else could be put at risk or in danger. If you are concerned about anything you are told at any time, keep working through the session materials and speak to one of the following members of staff immediately:
You should continue the session as normal, working through the materials and then immediately report what you’ve been told to one of the people in the box above. Information you may not be comfortable with, could include:</p>
<p>· Being told about something illegal<br />
· Something you don’t believe is morally correct<br />
· Allegations of abuse/violence<br />
· Being told something you know is wrong/shouldn’t happen<br />
